Vaccination Brisbane – The Queensland Government has worked hard to make sure that your family is protected by having a well-maintained vaccination program at Brisbane International Airport. When you arrive at Brisbane International Airport, you will be greeted by a trained security guard who will screen you through the airport security screening process. From here you will walk into an X-Ray area where the VIRUS can be detected. If there is a problem you can be sent to the terminal where you can enter another area of screening called the VET-RISK area.

The VIRUS scanner in this area can detect any changes in an individual such as a change in their hair, a new passport, or any other number of changes that you may need to make during your trip. After you have passed all these areas, the next level of security screening will occur in an area called the VET-CHECK. Here they will conduct a physical examination of your body to ensure that there are no changes in your body systems and that you are virus free. The screening process then proceeds to the next level of security screening, which is called the VET-RISK. Here they will perform another physical examination of your body to make sure that everything is in order and that all systems are functioning properly.

In this area, they will conduct a series of questions to determine the validity of your documents such as the date of your last return flight to Australia, whether or not you have had any recent vaccinations, what your occupation is and also where you are going to stay during your trip. If you are traveling with children, they will want to know if they will be travelling with you, if you plan to travel with them, what age group the children will fall under, where you live, what vaccinations you are already carrying, etc. This information will help them to determine if you are a risk to their welfare. and will ensure that your children are kept away from others while you are in their care.
